Tasting Notes
The nose has hints of vanilla, black olives, pipe tobacco, blackberry and leather. The wine is big and juicy with dominant fruit flavors of Bing cherry and plum. The wine has hints of cocoa and coffee finish. Pairs nicely with beef, lamb or gamey meats.

The wine is a blend of left bank Bordeaux reds.
FINISHED WINE: 65% Cab Sauv 15% Petit Verdot 15% Malbec 5% Syrah
VINEYARD: Lonesome Spring Ranch
PRODUCTION: 30 cases (360 bottles)
WINE MAKING PROCESS: The grapes were hand-picked. The crushed grapes were soaked for 36 hours to stabilize color. Fermented on the skins 8 days. Each lot was fermented separately. Barrel aged 50 months. 1/2 of the barrels were new French oak.

AGE-WORTHY: 10-12 years after bottling
The label for the wine was inspired by local artist Natalie Martin. The image can typically be seen when driving into the Dungeness Valley.
