Tasting Notes
Nose of the wine has aromas of anise, clove and cherry tobacco. On the palate, firm tannins provide structure to the wine, followed red fruit flavors of currant, plum and cherry. The wine has a finish of black tea and a stewed cherry mulberry jam.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Hand harvested on the full moon in mid-September 2016. Hand sorted then fully crushed. Maceration was 6 days on the skins before pressing. The wines aged in French oak barrels for 30 months. 50% were new oak.
