Tasting Notes
The nose of the wine has hints of coffee, tobacco spice and vanilla. On the palate, this full body wine has dark fruit flavors of black cherry, black currant and chocolate. The finish has hints of licorice and chocolate truffles.
Pairs nicely with steak, mushroom risotto and aged cheeses.

2017 Sagrantino
Sagrantino (Sah-Grawn-Tea-noh) is an extremely rare grape worldwide with only three acres planted in Washington. It known to have one of the highest tannic levels of any grape variety in the world making it rich in antioxidants. This grape is native to the region of Umbria in Italy.

VINEYARD: Inland Desert Yakima Valley
PRODUCTION: 900 bottles (75 cases)
WINEMAKING:
Grapes were hand-harvested and sorted in late October. 100% crushed and stemmed. Fermented on skins 21 days.MATURATION: barrel aged 18 months in French oak barrels 50% new barrels
