On the nose the wine has bouquet of cedar, cinnamon, vanilla and bacon fat. On the palate, the medium body wine has hints of plum and boysenberry. Barrel aging gives the wine a finish of coffee and chocolate.
Pairs nicely bold dishes such as grilled steak, lamb, eggplant parmesan or just enjoy on its own

WINE MAKING PROCESS: The grapes were hand-picked at two different times: 1st batch was mid-September with the 2nd being picked in the later part of the September. The grapes were stemmed with 100% being crushed. Fermented on the skins 14 days. The wine barrel aged in French oak for 24 months. 100% new oak. 1 barrel was French oak and the other was American oak.
