Tasting Notes
Nose of the wine has aromas of anise, clove and cherry tobacco. On the palate, firm tannins provide structure to the wine, followed red fruit flavors of currant, plum and cherry. The wine has a finish of black tea and a stewed cherry mulberry jam.

FINISHED WINE: 95% Malbec 5% Cabernet Sauvignon
Vineyard: Lonesome Spring Ranch Yakima Valley
PRODUCTION: 78 cases (875 bottles)
WINE MAKING PROCESS: Hand harvested in mid-October 2017. Hand sorted then fully crushed. Maceration was 8 days on the skins before pressing. The wines aged in French oak barrels for 36 months. 50% were new oak.
