Tasting Notes
The nose has hints of cherry, green olives and shaved coconut meat. The wine is big and juicy with dominant fruit flavors of cherry and raspberry. The finish has hints of black cherry, coconut and strawberries. Pairs nicely with red sauces, gourmet pizza and rich meats.

2016 Barbera
This is our eighth vintage of Barbera. Barbera is a popular Italian variety that is know to be high in acidity, rich fruit and low tannins. Very versatile wine that goes with a variety of food.
FINISHED WINE: 80% Barbera 13% Petit Verdot 5% Carmenère 2% Malbec
VINEYARD: Lonesome Spring Ranch
PRODUCTION: 30 cases (360 bottles)
WINE MAKING PROCESS: The Barbera grapes were hand-picked mid-October. The grapes were 100% crushed grapes and cold soaked for 36 hours to stabilize color. Fermented on the skins 12 days. The wine was aged in American oak barrels for 18 months.
