Tasting Notes
The nose has hints of cherry, pomegranate, crushed leaf and black tea. The wine has medium body with fruit flavors of cherry and plum. Smooth tannins give the wine a finish with hints of Bing cherry and black tea.
Pairs nicely with red sauces, pork and gourmet pizza.

2017 Barbera
This is our nineth vintage of Barbera.
FINISHED WINE: 85% Barbera 15% Cab Sauv
VINEYARD: Lonesome Spring Ranch Yakima Valley
PRODUCTION: 48 cases (576 bottles)
WINE MAKING PROCESS: The grapes were hand-picked in mid-October. The grapes were stemmed and crushed 100%. The grapes were cold soaked for 36 hours to stabilize color. Fermentation on the skins was for 10 days then pressed. The wine was barrel aged in two 3rd pass French oak barrel for 48 months.
