Tasting Notes
The nose of the wine has hints of sweet tobacco, licorice spice, and leather. On the palate, this full body wine has dark fruit flavors of black cherry, black currant and chocolate. Smooth tannins, give the wine a finish of licorice and dark chocolate. That’s what barrel aging can do for a wine.
Pairs nicely with grilled lamb or beef, mushroom risotto and aged cheeses.
