On the nose, the wine has aromas of cherry, plum, black olive and cedar. On the palate, the wine has red fruit flavors of Bing cherry and blackberry. Hints of clove and spice give the wine a lingering finish.
Pairs nicely most traditional Italian dishes, risotto, red sauces, eggplant, BBQ and gourmet pizza.

WINE MAKING PROCESS: The grapes were hand-picked in mid-October. The grapes were stemmed with 85% left as whole berries. Fermented on the skins 6 days. Barrel aged in French oak barrels for 30 months.
