On the nose, the wine has bouquet of black tea, caramel and toffee. On the palate, the wine has fruit flavors of plum, currant and Bing cherry. The silky finish has hints of coffee and juicy plum. Pairs nicely with a variety of grilled and smoked meats from duck to pork. Pairs nice with savory dishes as well.

WINE MAKING PROCESS: The grapes were hand harvested and hand sorted then crushed in early October. Maceration was three weeks on the skins before pressing.
The wines barrel aged in French oak for 18 months.
